I see art as an instrument of self-knowledge, able to turn in a living “object”, encouraging people to think with their hearts. My research explores the innermost meaning of colors and the power of breath in a sort of open dialogue with human emotions and natural/abstract shapes. It’s the stream of consciousness - crossing those archetypal symbols, unveiled by the vibes of colors – that inspires my videos, my paintings, my sculptures and installations.

Introspection highlights my inner landscapes, framing those moments of time where each shade of blue, red, green or white has a name, and evokes metaphorical icons, material as well as spiritual sites.

Creativity flows pushing me further to search for new materials and textures, making me experience that state of mind where even needling threads, turns into a mantra, disclosing the doors of myth and primordial symbols.

I think of Visual Arts as a form of energy, captured in a continuous process of regeneration and evolution, in which aesthetic and symbolic values melt along less traveled ancestral roads.

I feel natural elements as a metaphoric junction with human passions and feelings. Indeed I see life as a curved line, with peaks and troughs that mark the steps of that ascending cycle of evolution, that for an artist is just new lymph for creation.

I strongly believe that the longer we look, the more we see, and what I can see now, at this stage of my artistic research, is the chance of growth given to each human being. That chance of seizing the day by walking through the routes of the soul, where - despite all the noises produced by the outside world - it’s still possible to hear a voice whispering an alternative choice: will you fight or will you dance?
